Therapy Session Rates (Self-Pay)
- Individual Therapy (50 minutes): $125
- Couples & Family Therapy (50 minutes): $135
I offer clear, competitive rates for self-pay clients. Payment is due at the time of service and is processed securely through my HIPAA-compliant client portal.
Insurance & Reimbursement
I accept a wide range of insurance plans in Idaho and Oregon. While your plan may cover part or all of your session cost, coverage varies, and I recommend contacting your provider to confirm your benefits before we begin.
To properly submit claims on your behalf, I require:
- Completed demographic information (full name, date of birth, and current address)
- JPEG copies of the front and back of your insurance card
- Credit card information on file for co-pays or uncovered fees
Helpful questions to ask your insurance provider:
- Does my plan include outpatient mental health therapy? If so, what is my co-pay per session? Is there a co-pay for telehealth (online therapy) sessions?
- Do I have a deductible? Has it been met?
- Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered per week, month, or year?
- Do I need pre-authorization or a referral from my doctor?
My billing team submits claims directly to your insurance provider, and co-pays are automatically charged after each session.

Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
I accept many EAP's. However, please note:
- I do not accept EAP renewals beyond the initial approved sessions
- Ongoing therapy must transition to your primary insurance or self-pay after the EAP ends
To ensure a smooth billing process, I require the following for EAP clients before your first session:
- EAP Authorization Form, not just an auth#. This form contains all information for proper billing and is provided by the EAP provider.
- JPEG copies of the front and back of your primary insurance card
- Credit card on file for co-pays or uncovered fees
This supports continuity of care if we determine to continue services and lets us know in advance your mental health benefits.
Payment Options
I accept all major credit cards and HSA cards. Payments are securely handled through my online client system-no in-session processing or card readers required. You'll receive setup instructions during the intake process.
Cancellation Policy
Please notify me at least 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule. Missed or late-canceled appointments are charged a $125 fee, which is not covered by insurance. I understand that emergencies happen and offer flexibility when appropriate.
